"Established in 1940, the Craft & Hobby Association or CHA (formerly the Hobby Industry Association or HIA) is a business-to-business trade association representing all facets of the craft industry and hobby industry. Member companies include manufacturers, wholesalers, publishers, professional craft producers, institutional buyers, and retailers of craft and hobby merchandise. Other membership categories that provide services and craft products within this industry include manufacturer representatives, craft designers, and service suppliers (consultants, writers, B2B services). CHA is the host for the most premier of crafts tradeshows in the arts and crafts industry, the Annual Craft and Hobby Convention & Trade Show. The event features a variety of craft exhibitions and crafting ideas."
